By train:
Heidelberg’s main railway station operates fast train connections to all major European cities, mostly via Mannheim. Find more information on schedules » here.
By car:
Heidelberg is situated directly on the A5 North-South motorway connecting Frankfurt (in the north) and Basel (in the south).
We suggest leaving the motorway at the exit "Heidelberg/Schwetzingen" and head for "Heidelberg". After approx. 1 km turn right towards "Leimen". Passing Leimen, this road will lead you towards the Heidelberg suburb "Boxberg".
Here you find a blue petrol station ("ARAL"), where you turn left and drive through "Boxberg" until the "EMBL Boxbergring
guesthouse" that appears on your left. Here the road splits and you should go left taking you downhill. After yet another 200 meters , a road sign shows "EMBL" to the right. Follow this sign up, turn left after 200 meters at the first possibility. At the end of the road, you will find a car park along with signs directing you to one of Cellzome's main buildings on the premises. The reception of the EMBL will also help you in case you missed our entrance.
