PI3Kδ

Technology

Like » PI3Kγ, PI3Kδ is a member of the class I phosphatidylinositol-3-kinases. PI3Kδ often works in synergy to PI3Kγ to produce pro-inflammatory responses. PI3Kδ acts downstream of Receptor tyrosine kinases, and is the main source of PI3K activity following antigen recognition by B cells, T cells and mast cells. In models of inflammation, in particular respiratory disease, PI3Kδ inhibitors have shown good efficacy.

Utilizing our multiplexing approach, we screened both PI3K isoforms, γ and δ, simultaneously in a » Kinobeads screen directly from cell lysate. Apart from selective PI3Kδ inhibitors, we also identified PI3Kδ and γ mixed inhibitors.
